parents, we are always looking for fun things to do with our kids.
That is the reason why we put together this list of family
friendly events, and activities that will not break your budget! Check
back often as we are always updating this list.

Fall Farm and Halloween Fun Check

Farmer's Markets Each
Saturday morning the Capitol Square plays host to our national known
Dane County Farmer's Market. But, there are numerous farmer's markets
going on throughout the south central Wisconsin area. Check out

Annual Holiday Tea & Trains The Madison Club December 6, 2008, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This family friendly event has become a holiday tradition for many
Madison families. Conductor Joe Schappel will be back with his private
American Flyer electric train collection. Gingerbread Baby by Jan
Brett will be our featured holiday story. There will be crafts, family
photos, old fashioned silhouettes, silent auction, and of course full

Olbrich Garden's Holiday Express Olbrich Gardens, Madison, WI December 6 - 31, 2008 Members of the Wisconsin Garden Railway Society come from all over the
state to show off their large-scale model trains during Olbrich's
Holiday Express. You'll see different trains, depending on the day.
This year, trains wind through an enchanted land of fanciful gingerbread
houses created by Madison area bakers. Admire gingerbread buildings
complete with candy cane porch pillars, shaved almond roofs, and

individual snacks to enjoy at the snack tables in gym. Call and

enroll for a discounted price each semester and have a reserved spot

This
great museum is free the first Sunday of each month! On other
days
it's affordable, and you can buy a pass that is good for the whole
year! The museum has a number of classes and programs throughout
the year for kids of different ages.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens
Kids will love the beautiful gardens. The outdoor gardens
are free, while the year-round indoor tropical conservatory if free on
Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-noon and just $1 per person
other times! They also have many classes for kids.

UW Arboretum The
Arboretum is chance for all people in the Madison area to spend some
time appreciating nature while not leaving the city. Numerous

Wisconsin Historical Museum
The museum offers parents the opportunity to teach their kids about
